Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actor who earned popularity for her part in Hum Aapke Hain Koun as well as Beta Saajan. She began her career in the 80s before coming to prominence with her performance in the film Tezaab where she was a part of the cast alongside famous actor Anil Kapoor. Then, she starred alongside Aamir In Dil. Born into the Mumbai middle class family. She began dancing at a young age. When she was a teenager She began to act and suffered for several years since the majority of her films at first were unsuccessful. She eventually found success and went on to become one of the best actresses in the Indian industry of film. Following her marriage she had one year off but returned to her profession. She was a key character as a lead actress in Gulaab Gang, a film about women's struggles in India. Dixit was nominated in fifteen Filmfare Awards. Of these she's won eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India has been bestowed on her. Her social work sector is well known.
